1. New Customers

Question:

I want to use your service but still have some questions?

Answer:

The best thing to do is give us a call or send us an e-mail so we can discuss your needs further.

Question:

How do I set up an account?

Answer:

Download and complete our New Account form here (or ask us to e-mail it to you) and send it back to us by fax or e-mail. We will then set you up on our systems.

Question:

Will you render a test scene to prove your service works?

Answer:

Yes. If you are interested but need to be convinced then please contact us.

Question:

How do you set your prices, and why are you more competive than many other renderfarms?

Answer:

Our prices are set to be as low as possible, but do have to reflect the cost of providing a quality managed service. We believe that remote renderfarms should cost less than doing it in-house, and want our customers to benefit from the economies of scale and utilisation we achieve.

Question:

Can I pre-purchase GHz-Hours at a discounted price similar to your competition?

Answer:

Yes of course. We are happy invoice you for the number of GHz-Hours you require, with your render 'credit' becoming active as soon as we receive full payment.

2. Job Submission

Question:

Why do you offer a fully managed service?

Answer:

We endeavour to make the process of rendering much easier for our customers. Experience has shown us that we need to dedicate time and people (not technology) to make this happen. We have trained staff on hand to take the worry out of rendering and ensure that jobs work.

Question:

Do you have an automated web submission like some other remote render farms?

Answer:

No. The problem with an automated web submission is that you responsible for setting up your own scenes and you are charged for rendering any mistakes. Our managed service removes this risk by ensuring that your jobs are setup correctly, thereby saving you time and money.

Question:

How do I prepare my scenes?

Answer:

Setup your scene exactly as you would to render locally. As part of our managed service we ensure that all the paths in a scene to textures and assets are mapped correctly.

Question:

How do I submit my jobs?

Answer:

The preferred method is by uploading to your secure FTP account that we provide, but we can also receive data on most removable media types. Once your project is ready then give us a call or send us an email.

Question:

How do I receive completed jobs?

Answer:

The prefered method is by downloading from your secure FTP account. As soon as rendering commences, you can download the finished frames at your convenience. However we can also return data on most removeable media types (subject to shipping charges at cost).

Question:

What payment types do you except?

Answer:

BACS/CHAPS, IBAN, PayPal, UK cheques and Credit Card.

3. Security and Privacy

Question:

How safe is my Intellectual Property and data?

Answer:

Security and privacy are of primary concern to us. All data is treated as strictly confidential unless we get explicit permission from you saying otherwise. This includes your clients identity, your scene data (including the applications and plugins used) and finished scenes. Please look at the technical specifications of our render farm to see the security measure we have taken to give you confidence.

Question:

Will you sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?

Answer:

Yes of course. We are happy to sign an agreement with you and your client.

Question:

Can we audit your security?

Answer:

Yes of course. We are happy for our security to be audited anytime.

Question:

Do you create 3D computer graphics and animations yourselves?

Answer:
